Phonetics Laboratory

 

The Phonetics Laboratory, is closely related to the Computational Linguistics Laboratory and the Forensic Linguistics Office. The laboratory takes part on several interdisciplinary projects and researches.

 

The main actions of the laboratory are:

 

  • Creation of a database and the study of varieties and accents in several languages.
  • Collection of audio files of accents and varieties in various languages. 
  • The execution of phonetic studies of linguistic varieties, including audios and bibliography of phonetic inference between L1-L2-L3.

 

The phonetics laboratory also owns software, programs and tutorials for scientific speech analysis.
