The Phonetics Laboratory, is closely related to the Computational Linguistics Laboratory and the Forensic Linguistics Office. The laboratory takes part on several interdisciplinary projects and research projects.

The main actions of the laboratory are:

• Creation of a database and the study of varieties and accents in several languages.
• Collection of audio files of accents and varieties in various languages. 
• The conduction of phonetic studies on linguistic varieties, including audios and bibliography of phonetic interference between L1-L2-L3.

The phonetics laboratory is equipped with software, programs and tutorials for scientific speech analysis, as well as two acoustic chambers.
