OTRI Contracts
Outside contracts are the way to articulate the participation of University researchers in collaborative R&D projects with companies or the provision of services and technical support to them. The OTRI has an office on the premises of the Institute for this purpose. These collaborations are covered by article 83 of the LOU, which establishes that “the departments, centres or institutes of research, and their teaching staff through them, may contract with public or private entities, or with natural persons, the performance of scientific, technical or artistic works” and are regulated by the Regulation for the performance of scientific, technical or artistic works in collaboration with other entities or natural persons.
