• Apple tablet. Its use is justified in two senses:

 

1. Many language treatment programs that can be downloaded for free can be only executed in an Apple tablet. Like, for example:

    • I can speak. Manipulative material by Marisa Mayorgas Fortis and Leticia Segura Rodríguez, Ed. GEU.

    • Tell my why. A material to work with the pragmatic development of the language by Gloria López Garzñon, Ed. GEU.

2. The Apple tablet can be also used as video camera since its recordings present high image and audio quality, moreover, it has the advantage of not having to transform the format as is the case with any video camera, be it a disc or a card camera.

• PEABODY picture vocabulary test.
• The Knict system is a mocap (motion capture) that provides real information about the features of a deficient operation.
• The VEDILS tool, developed by the research group “Mejora del Proceso Software y Métodos Formales” (Process Improvement Software and Formal Methods) of the College of Engineering of the University of Cadiz. This tool allows the design of interactive learning environment in Android devices.
• WIRTUALREHAB by Viertualware is the first software of virtual rehabilitation that allows the monitoring and tracking of patients from any part of the world. The patients can make complex rehabilitation programmes through the fun therapies both in their rehabilitation centre and in their own houses.
• LEAP MOTION is a sensor that capture the hands and fingers movement.
• MYO ARMBAND is a wearable that recognises arms and hands movement.
