UCA Editorial presents the book “Corpus de Trastornos de Lenguaje”

The University of Cádiz presented today the book titled Corpus de Trastornos de Lenguaje from the collection Estudios, Informes y Proyectos in the Books room at Andrés Segovia building. In the event, was attended by María Jesús Paredes Duarte, lecturer of the General Linguistics Area at UCA and book coordinator, Víctor Manuel Martín-Sánchez, book editor, y José Marchena Domínguez, general director of the Extensión Cultural and the University Press.

This is a transcription of speech samples from people with language disorders collected between 2005 and 2012 for identification and study. Following previous models used nationally for this type of work, the interviews with the different speakers have been carried out with the same parameters of duration, situational context and informed consent, with the particularity that they are speakers of the area with certain dialectal patterns hitherto unpublished.

The book is an indispensable material for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, according to its promoters.
