ILA’s Research Plan is the main tool that helps developing the different activities of the Institute regarding investigation and transference. This plan opts for research of excellence in all the different areas of applied linguistics, encouraging scientific activities in order to accomplish the Contrato Programa and reach higher levels of research efficiency, according to the directions of the ILA DIRECTOR PLAN (PDILA). The basics of the plan are:

  •  Supporting ILA researchers, promoting their perfection and internationalisation.
  •  Supporting ILA researchers, offices and laboratories taking part in Andalusian, Spanish and European support programmes, which this Research Plan is part of.
  •  Recruitment of young scholars from undergraduate to doctoral study until especialization and the incorporation of doctors for the developing of projects or research stays.
  •  Strengthening relations with national and international institutes and research centres.
